In a decisive move to bolster regional security, Jubbaland’s Darawiish Forces, in collaboration with the state police, have carried out a well-coordinated security operation in the coastal areas surrounding Kudhaa, a town under Badhaadhe district in Lower Jubba.
The operation specifically targeted extremist Al-Shabaab Khawarij elements who had been using the area as a hideout.
According to officials, the mission aimed to dismantle threats to public safety and restore lasting peace and stability to the region.
Deputy Commander of the Darawiish Forces in Badhaadhe, Abdullahi Nur Farah, addressed the media following the operation. He affirmed the commitment of security forces to continue their efforts until all militant elements are eradicated from the region.
“Our forces will not relent. We are determined to pursue these groups until peace is fully restored across Lower Jubba,” said Commander Farah.
The security operation marks another step in Jubbaland’s broader strategy to secure its coastal territories and eliminate insurgent threats.
