The Director General of the Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction, and Housing of the Jubbaland State Government, Abdishukri Arab, conducted a field visit to inspect the ongoing construction of major roads vital to the connectivity and mobility within Kismaayo city.
Accompanied by Engineer Ahmed Hussein, the NAGAAD Project Coordinator, and other ministry engineers, the visit aimed to assess the progress, quality, and impact of the infrastructure works currently underway.
The inspection focused on ensuring that the construction activities are progressing smoothly, meet quality standards, and do not disrupt the daily movement of residents and vehicles. Emphasis was also placed on accelerating the implementation of the project in alignment with Jubbaland’s broader development agenda.
The DG Abdishukri Arab commended the project teams for their visible dedication and commitment to delivering high-quality roads that will enhance neighborhood connectivity and improve the overall appearance of Kismaayo.
The Ministry of Public Works reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening infrastructure development across Jubbaland, ensuring that communities benefit from modern, sustainable, and reliable public services.
