The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation of the Jubbaland State Government today convened a high-level meeting in Kismayo to officially endorse the Five-Year Development Plan for Kismayo District. This strategic plan marks a significant milestone in the region’s efforts to strengthen good governance, enhance public services, and accelerate infrastructure development.
The approval meeting brought together key stakeholders, including the Head of Stabilization at the Ministry of Interior, the Director of Social Affairs for Lower Jubba Region, the Deputy Chairperson for Social Affairs in Kismayo District, representatives from various civil society groups across Jubbaland, and other distinguished guests.
During the session, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the core pillars of the development plan, which include:
