Rainfall in Jubbaland regional state has affected farmers in Afmadow district whose crops heavily depend on rain water.
Afmadow farmers who grow variety of crops are now very worried that their crops and vegetables would soon dry up due to low rain in the district.
Some farmers who spoke exclusively to Radio Kismayo on phone said the low rains in Afmadow has affected agricultural production in the area.
Rage Agricultural farm chairperson, Mohamed Hassan said 970 farms in Afmadow are now on the verge of drying up.
