Jubbaland First Vice President, Mahmoud Sayid Aden, who is currently on an official working visit to Kenya, held a significant meeting with the President of South West State, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen), to discuss key national and regional issues.
The meeting was also attended by the Governor of Dolow District, Mohamed Hussein (Lafey).
Discussions focused on the ongoing political transition process, strengthening security cooperation, and accelerating joint efforts aimed at enhancing peace, stability, and security across the region.
During the talks, the leaders exchanged views on current political developments and underscored the importance of close collaboration among Somalia’s Federal Member States in addressing shared challenges and promoting sustainable stability.
The officials further emphasized the need for continuous consultation and coordinated engagement between regional administrations to reinforce peace, improve security, and advance effective governance for the benefit of local communities.
The meeting reflects the growing commitment of regional leaders to work together in support of political stability, security cooperation, and state-building efforts across Somalia.
