The Deputy Minister of Planning, Investment and International Cooperation of the Jubbaland State Government, Farah Mukhtar Da’uud, on Tuesday received a delegation from UN Women at his office, reaffirming the growing partnership between the two sides.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in key priority areas, including social development, women’s empowerment, and the implementation of sustainable development projects across Jubbaland.
During the discussions, Deputy Minister Farah Mukhtar underscored the importance of the engagement, noting that such meetings play a crucial role in enhancing institutional collaboration and accelerating ongoing development plans in Jubbaland. He emphasized the government’s commitment to working closely with international partners to promote inclusive development that benefits all segments of society, particularly women.
The UN Women delegation, for their part, expressed appreciation for the warm reception extended by the Ministry of Planning.
