The Minister of Health and Social Care of the Jubaland Government, Ismail Ahmed Garas, today received the World Food Programme (WFP) Head for Jubaland, Stephen Moseray, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Ministry, Mohamed Hussein Mohamed, alongside several departmental directors.
Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Social Care and the World Food Programme (WFP), with both sides exploring ways to jointly address existing health and social service needs across Jubaland.
The two parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration and advancing coordinated efforts aimed at improving access to essential healthcare and social support services for communities throughout the region.
