
The Director General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education of the Jubbaland State Government, Ahmed Farah Ali (Aweys), in collaboration with officials from the Federal Government’s Ministry of Education, Culture, and Higher Education, today officially inaugurated a competitive examination for the Master’s Degree Scholarship Program under the Rajakaaba Project.
The exam was sat for by a group of Somali girls selected as key beneficiaries of the project, which aims to increase women’s participation in higher education and expand learning opportunities across the country.
According to the Ministry, the purpose of the examination is to identify and select the most qualified female candidates for the project’s scholarship awards through a transparent, merit-based, and credible process that aligns with national standards for higher education.
The assessment was administered by experts from Somali National University, who ensured that the examination was conducted in full compliance with the country’s academic quality and higher education guidelines.
The Jubaland Ministry of Education reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the education sector and implementing initiatives that strengthen the quality and accessibility of higher education across the state.
