
The District Commissioner of Dolow, Mohamed Hussein Abdi Lafeey, today presided over the closing ceremony of an intensive commando training program for a unit of the Jubaland Daraawiish Forces. The troops have spent the past few months undergoing specialized training in Dolow, Gedo region.
Speaking at the ceremony, Commissioner Lafeey congratulated the newly graduated forces and urged them to apply the skills and discipline they have gained in service to their country and people. He emphasized their critical role in strengthening security, liberating areas still under enemy control, and safeguarding the stability and governance structures of Jubaland.
In his remarks, Commissioner Lafeey paid special tribute to the security leadership, particularly the Dolow Security Commander Mohamed Hassan Buulle, praising his effective leadership, unity-building efforts, and dedication that have contributed significantly to the success of both the intelligence services and the Daraawiish units.
The event was attended by the Deputy District Commissioner of Dolow, security officers, the Airport Manager, the Head of Agency Coordination, the Secretary to the Deputy President’s Office of Jubaland, and the Chairperson of Qansaxleey neighborhood.
