In a coordinated counter-terrorism campaign, the Jubbaland Intelligence and Security Agency (JISA), elite Danab Commandos, and international partners have carried out a series of strategic operations targeting extremist hideouts in several locations under Jamaame district.
The operations focused on the areas of Qoraxey, Siirey, Farbulaay, Turdho, Yiirey, Janaale Jaay, and Maleyley, where underground bunkers and hideouts used by the Al-Shabaab Khawarij militants were destroyed.
According to official sources, the joint forces confirmed the elimination of 18 Al-Shabaab Khawarij fighters and injuries to 32 others during the air-and-ground assault.
Jubbaland’s security forces, in collaboration with the Somali National Army (SNA), remain committed to eradicating extremist groups and restoring peace, stability, and safety for the Somali people.
