The Minister of Health and Social Care of the Jubbaland State Government, Ismail Ahmed Garas, today presided over the ministry’s monthly staff meeting held in Kismayo.
The meeting brought together key figures from the ministry, including the Acting Director General and Director of Administration and Finance, Mohamed Abdiqaadir, departmental directors, section heads, senior officials, and regional and district health coordinators—some of whom joined virtually.
During the session, October’s performance reports were presented, with a strong focus on accelerating priority ministry initiatives, overcoming existing challenges, enhancing the quality and accessibility of healthcare services for the public
Minister Garas commended the staff for their dedication and urged them to double their efforts to ensure Jubaland citizens receive high-quality, accessible, and sustainable healthcare services.
