In a major step toward strengthening the education sector, the Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Learning of Jubbaland State, Abdinasiir Serar Maax, alongside the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Abdullahi Dhubad Shiil, officially laid the foundation stone today for the Jubbaland Teacher Training Center in Kismayo.
The new facility is set to become a cornerstone for developing highly skilled educators who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of education and shaping the next generation of leaders in the region.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Kismayo and various community stakeholders, particularly staff from the Ministry of Education, reflecting broad support for the initiative.
This project is part of Jubbaland’s broader efforts to improve educational standards and empower teachers with the tools and training necessary to meet the region’s academic goals.
