Security Chief of Kismayo Airport, Colonel Mohamed Hayi along with other airport security officers, welcomed new officers from the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) forces of Kenya.
The meeting was aimed at fostering cooperation and ensuring the security of Kismayo Airport.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to collaborate closely on airport security measures.
This change comes shortly after the replacement of the previous Kenyan security officer at ASUSOM. The newly appointed officers have now taken over the security responsibilities at the airport.
Since his appointment, Colonel Mohamed Hayi, known as Col. Badar, has implemented significant changes to the airport’s security protocols which have been widely appreciated by the community using the airport.
