The Ministry of Health of the Jubbaland Government and the Ministry of Interior of the Jubbaland Government today officially inaugurated the Janaa Abdalle Health Center, a facility established to strengthen and improve access to quality healthcare services for communities living in the area.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Mohamed Hussein Mohamed, the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Abdiwahid Mohamed Dhaqane, the Jubbaland Community Project Manager, the Kismayo District Health Coordinator, Mohamed Sheikh Aden, the Chairman of Janaa Abdalle and other government officials.

The health center is expected to play a vital role in enhancing healthcare delivery and improving health outcomes for the residents of Janaa Abdalle.

Although the facility had previously been providing basic health services, today’s official inauguration marks an important milestone in the Ministry of Health’s ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen healthcare services across Jubbaland.

The establishment of the health center reflects the Jubbaland Government’s commitment to ensuring that communities in both urban and rural areas have access to essential and quality healthcare services.

The initiative forms part of broader efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure and increase service accessibility throughout the state.

The project was implemented through a collaborative partnership between the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Interior, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Through this joint effort, the partners have worked together to ensure that the people of Janaa Abdalle have access to reliable, accessible, and quality healthcare services that meet their growing needs.

The inauguration represents another important step toward strengthening Jubbaland’s healthcare system and improving the well-being of local communities through sustainable and inclusive health service delivery.
