The Director General of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Jubbaland Government, Abdullahi Ahmed Abdullahi, today welcomed a delegation from the Jubbaland Civil Service Commission at the Ministry’s headquarters as part of an official monitoring and assessment visit.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of Administration, Finance, Labor, and Human Resources, Mohamed Nur Elmi.
Discussions focused on strengthening intergovernmental cooperation, enhancing public sector human resource management, and improving the efficiency and quality of government service delivery.
The annual monitoring exercise aims to assess the overall performance of government ministries, evaluate civil service management practices, and measure compliance with established public service laws, regulations, and administrative procedures.
During the meeting, the Director General highlighted the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional management, build staff capacity, and improve organizational performance. He emphasized the importance of closer collaboration among government institutions to ensure the delivery of efficient, transparent, and people-centered public services.
Members of the delegation, in turn, expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and constructive cooperation extended by the Ministry’s leadership.
They commended the Ministry for the progress it has made in administrative management, human resource development, and service delivery.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to further strengthen cooperation and advance reforms within the Jubbaland Civil Service system, with the goal of promoting effective governance and enhancing the quality of public services for the people of Jubbaland.
