In a significant move to strengthen public service delivery, three vehicles intended to serve the people of Jubbaland were officially handed over today to the Ministries of Agriculture, Water, and Humanitarian Affairs. The vehicles were donated by the German development agency GIZ.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, Jubbaland’s Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Geelle Muhumad Adan, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Government and people of Germany for their unwavering support. He emphasized that the vehicles will play a vital role in improving services for communities across Jubbaland.
Development partners, particularly GIZ, have consistently supported Jubbaland through various initiatives, including previous donations of vehicles and essential resources to enhance government capacity.
