In recent days, communities across Jubbaland—particularly pastoralists and residents along the Lower Jubba coastline—have raised urgent concerns over worsening drought conditions, marked by acute thirst and water scarcity.
Responding to these distress calls, the Jubbaland Government convened an emergency meeting today to address the crisis. The session brought together a special task force appointed by the regional administration to tackle the growing humanitarian challenge and find immediate solutions to alleviate the suffering of affected communities.
