Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and his delegation held bilateral talks in Mombasa, Kenya with Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta and senior government officials in Kenya.
The two sides discussed a number of strategic issues of common interest between Somalia and Kenya, most notably the resumption of diplomatic relations between Nairobi and Mogadishu.
Somali premier Mohamed Hussein Roble said his visit was aimed at strengthening ties between the two governments, and have a number of issues of critical importance that needs to be discussed.
The Prime Minister of Somalia has stressed that the maritime dispute between Somalia and Kenya will not be discussed at all and will be resolved by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
