The event brought together officers from the Lower Jubba Regional Police Command and officials from the Jubbaland Ministry of Internal Security.

During the sessions, participants engaged with community members, sharing knowledge and practical insights on enhancing cooperation between law enforcement agencies and the public.

The Community-Police Partnership initiative is designed to serve as a vital link between security institutions and local communities. The programme seeks to improve the exchange of security-related information, enhance early warning mechanisms, and strengthen efforts to prevent potential security threats within the area.

Officials emphasized that the initiative plays a crucial role in building public confidence in security institutions by fostering trust, transparency, and mutual cooperation.

They noted that lasting peace and stability can only be achieved when police and community members work together to safeguard their neighborhoods.
