The Jubaland State Police have arrested a suspect, Ahmed-Nur Muhiyadin Ahmed, who is accused of spreading fabricated videos related to the national high school examinations.

According to authorities, the suspect shared misleading content on social media suggesting that cheating was taking place during the exams.
The videos, described as false and deceptive, had the potential to create confusion, panic, and mistrust among both students and the wider public at a critical time in the academic calendar.

Police officials warned that the deliberate spread of such misinformation could seriously undermine the integrity of the national examination process.

Ahmed-Nur Muhiyadin Ahmed is reportedly a Form Three student at Jubba Secondary School in Kismayo.

Investigations into the case are ongoing, and authorities have reiterated their commitment to taking firm action against individuals who spread false information that undermines public confidence and social stability.
