The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments of the Jubbaland State has conducted an official visit to sites where sacrificial meat was being distributed to the public in celebration of Eid al-Adha, in an initiative led by the Horyaal Organization.
The distribution program provided 200 head of cattle, specifically designated for poor and vulnerable families, ensuring that those in need could partake in the festive occasion.
The launch ceremony drew prominent figures, including the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments of Jubbaland, who attended alongside fellow cabinet ministers and respected Somali religious scholars. The presence of senior officials underscored the government’s commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts and strengthening community welfare during important religious occasions.
Speaking at the event, officials emphasized the significance of collective action in addressing the needs of disadvantaged communities, particularly during Eid al-Adha, a time traditionally marked by charity, sacrifice, and compassion.
