Mogadishu-based journalists participating in coverage of the Somalia Future Forum were warmly received in Kismayo by the President of the Jubaland State Government, Ahmed Mohamed Islam.
More than 75 journalists took part in reporting the high‑level conference, playing a significant role in delivering accurate and timely information to the Somali public. Their coverage was described as both energetic and highly professional throughout the event.
President Ahmed Mohamed Islam commended the journalists for their dedication, noting that their work was essential in keeping the nation informed. He praised their professionalism and the commitment they demonstrated during the forum.
Meanwhile, Jubaland’s Minister of Information, Abdifatax Mohamed Mukhtar, also lauded the journalists representing 22 independent media outlets. He highlighted their critical role in supporting the conference and ensuring that its proceedings reached audiences across the country.
