The Jubbaland Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs today concluded a significant four-day training session in Kismayo focused on supporting the justice mechanism for victims of abuse and violence.
The training, which saw participation from various sectors of the community, was officially closed by the Director General of the Jubbaland Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Abdullahi Abdiqadir Adan Qa’anuuni. He was joined by the Directors General of the Ministries of Planning, Security, Labor, and Social Affairs.
The core objective of the intensive training was to strengthen understanding of how to effectively support and build the justice process serving victims of abuse.
Furthermore, the program aimed to enhance the critical role that both the community and various institutions must play in safeguarding victims’ rights.
The initiative is part of Jubbaland’s broader efforts to improve access to justice and ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the necessary support within the legal framework.
