
The President of Jubaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today hosted the United States Ambassador to Somalia, Richard H. Riley, and his delegation during an official working visit to Kismayo.
The meeting, attended by the Jubaland Ministers of Interior and Planning & International Cooperation, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Jubaland and the United States. Key discussions included enhancing security collaboration, U.S. support for development projects, and the broader political landscape and state-building process in Somalia.
