The Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Care in Jubaland, Mohamed Hussein Mohamed, officially inaugurated the quarterly meeting of the Reproductive Health Working Group (RHWG), aimed at reviewing progress, addressing existing challenges, and outlining future plans for reproductive, maternal, and child health services.
The session focused on improving maternal and child healthcare, with particular emphasis on reducing maternal and infant mortality rates and strengthening essential health services across the region.
Key participants included the Director of Health Services, Ismail Ali Mahmoud, Head of Reproductive Health, Najmo Abdiqadir, senior officials from the Ministry of Health, and representatives from partner health organizations operating in Jubaland.
