Officials reported that residents of Ceelwaaq are struggling with acute water shortages caused by prolonged drought following several failed rainy seasons. The situation has left communities vulnerable and in dire need of assistance.
The district administration has appealed to the Jubbaland Government and international humanitarian organizations to deliver effective relief aid to alleviate the suffering of the local population.
