The Jubbaland Security Forces, in coordination with the elite Danab Commandos from Battalion 162, have executed a successful military operation targeting Al-Shabaab Khawarij militant hideouts in the areas of Aboodin, Yaaq Dabayl, and surrounding villages in Lower Jubba region.
During the operation, the forces destroyed several locations where the Al-Shabaab Khawarij had been hiding and operating, using them as bases to launch attacks and inflict suffering on local civilians.
Commanding officers leading the mission stated that the operations against the extremist group will continue with full force. They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to completely eradicating the Khawarij from any area they attempt to infiltrate or conceal themselves.
This decisive action underscores Jubbaland’s determination to restore peace and security across its territories.
