The Minister of Health and Social Care of the Jubaland State Government, Ismail Ahmed Garas, today presided over the ministry’s monthly staff meeting held at the central headquarters of the Jubbaland Ministry of Health.
The meeting brought together the Acting Director General and Head of the Emergency Health Department, Dr. Maxamed Shaciye, departmental heads, senior ministry officials, and regional and district health coordinators—some of whom joined virtually.
During the session, regional and district health coordinators presented detailed reports on activities carried out throughout September. The meeting also focused on fast-tracking critical initiatives within the ministry and addressing existing challenges to enhance the delivery of healthcare services to the public.
In his closing remarks, Minister Ismail Ahmed Garas commended the ministry’s staff for their dedication and service to the community. He urged them to intensify efforts aimed at improving healthcare services across Jubbaland’s regions.
