In a significant step toward improving healthcare access in rural Jubbaland, the Minister of Health and Social Care, accompanied by the Minister of Interior and the Minister of Public Works and Housing, jointly laid the foundation stone today for a new health center in the Janaa Cabdalla area.
The new facility is expected to address the long-standing healthcare needs of the residents of Janaa Cabdalla and surrounding villages. For years, the local community has awaited access to formal medical services, and this center is poised to transform the region’s health landscape.
The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Interior, reflecting a strong inter-ministerial partnership aimed at enhancing public services and community development.
During their visit, the officials also inspected other key development projects in the area, including a newly constructed mosque, a nearly completed educational facility, and the temporary health center currently serving the community.
