The Ministry of Interior of Jubbaland convened a high-level meeting in Kismayo aimed at fast-tracking stabilization efforts and expanding public service delivery, particularly in areas recently liberated from extremist groups.
Held at the Ministry’s headquarters, the meeting brought together the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, senior directors from other ministries involved in stabilization projects, and various government officials.
During the discussions, participants reached a consensus on the importance of unifying efforts across ministries and government agencies to ensure that residents in these newly secured regions gain access to essential public services, enjoy improved living conditions, and benefit from lasting peace.
The meeting underscored the government’s commitment to restoring governance and fostering resilience in communities affected by conflict.
