The Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Care of the Jubbaland State Government, Mohamed Hussein Mohamed, held a high-level meeting in Dhobley district with representatives of the African Union peacekeeping mission in Somalia (AUSSOM), led by Colonel Maurice Wasomi of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two sides, particularly in enhancing healthcare services at the Dhobley General Hospital. Discussions emphasized the need to accelerate joint efforts to ensure the local community receives consistent and high-quality medical care.
Both parties agreed on the importance of close collaboration to make healthcare services more sustainable and impactful. The meeting highlighted a shared commitment to improving public health infrastructure and ensuring continued support for the well-being of residents in the region.
