In a remarkable display of bravery and efficiency, the Jubbaland Police Fire Brigade successfully extinguished a fire that broke out at a business center located between Baajuunta Mosque and Carwo Istaag in Kismayo.
The fire, believed to have been caused by an electrical fault was swiftly attended to by the emergency response team from the Lower Juba Regional Police Command.
Their prompt action ensured the fire was contained and prevented from spreading to nearby businesses.
There were no casualties reported, although two buildings, including a pharmacy storage, sustained damage. Fire trucks were seen at the scene, effectively managing the situation and ensuring the blaze was confined to its origin.
