In a meticulously planned operation, the Jubbaland Darawish and Danab elite commandos have jointly executed a tactical security operation against the Al-Shabaab terror group on the outskirts of Barjala in Lower Juba region.
The joint security operation resulted in the destruction of strategic positions held by the terrorist group.
During the intense clampdown, over 48 militants were killed while two others were captured alive.
The forces also seized a significant cache of weapons, including BKM Sub machine guns, AK47 rifles and other military equipment from the ragtag militia.
