Somalia is today hosting a conference of the Ministers of Defense and Commanders of the Armed Forces of the neighboring countries, known as Frontline Countries. The countries to be part of the conference alongside Somalia are Kenya, Djibouti and Ethiopia.
The conference is set to analyze the completion of operations for the liberation of the areas where the Al-Shabaab (Khawarij) still remain a threat, support the coordination of the front line countries and the cooperation of these countries in the terror operations in Somalia.
The conference of the frontline countries is the first of its kind that Somalia has ever hosted. Somalia has set foot on the road to restore peace to the country and purge the terrorists who are used to shedding the blood of the Somali people.
