The Puntland regional state President, Sacid Abdullahi Deni met with DP WORLD executives in the United Arab Emirates to expedite and begin the construction and expansion of Bossaso Port.
The Puntland state President had a fruitful meeting with Suhail Al Banna, DPWORLD’s Country Director for the Middle East and Africa and it was agreed that the expansion and construction of Bossaso Port will begin as soon as possible.
The meeting was attended by Puntland’s Minister for Ports and Maritime Transport, Ahmed Yassin Salah and officials from the Puntland President’s Office.
After the meeting, the Puntland delegation also visited Jabal Ali Port and DP WORLD Office.
Puntland state President Sacid Abdullahi Deni, has repeatedly spoken to DP WORLD executives about how to move forward with the expansion of Bossaso Port, with no successful construction so far.
