Kenyan foreign minister arrives in Mogadishu

A delegation led by Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Minister Raychelle Omamo has arrived in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.

At Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu, the delegation was welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamed Abdirizak, and other members of the Ministry.

According to reports, Kenyan Foreign Minister Raychelle Omamo will hold talks with her Somali counterpart Mohamed Abdirizak,the Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble, and then later hold talks with outgoing President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.

For the past 24 hours, the arrival of Kenyan Foreign Minister Raychelle Omamo in Mogadishu has been the subject of much speculation, with no official statement from the Somali government.
