Former Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Abdi Hussein sheikh Mohamed, has today handed over the ministerial position to his new successor at the information and telecommunications ministry, Abdirashid Mohamed Duale, a member of the cabinet recently appointed by the President of Jubbaland, Ahmed Mohamed Islam.
The handover ceremony was attended by the First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayiid Aden.
Earlier in the day, the former Minister for Posts and Telecommunications, Abdi Hussein Sheikh Mohamed handed over the reins of the ministry to the newly appointed minister under the glimpse of the Ministry Director General and the ministry staff.
Meanwhile, the new Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Abdirashid Mohamed Duale, has thanked the Jubbaland state President for his appointment at the information and telecommunications ministry.
Te First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Adan, congratulated the Minister on his new appointment and urged him to bring drastic and improved changes at the Ministry which plays a pivotal role and and is an integral part of the government of Jubbaland state.
