Newly appointed Women and Human rights affairs ministers takes charge of office

The newly appointed Minister for Women and Human Rights, Ms. Adar Abdullahi Ismail, has officially taken charge of her office today.
The handover ceremony was attended by the First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Aden, the new Minister for the Ministry, Ms. Adar Abdullahi Ismail, the Director General and various staff of the Ministry.


The newly appointed Minister for women and human rights thanked her predecessor in the women and human rights Ministry for the excellent work undertaken by the Ministry over the years and promised to continue with the same work under her stewardship.
The Former Minister of the Ministry of Women Ms. Qamar Haji Khalil Deek, who was live during the handover virtually through zoom meeting said she was happy to pass the button to her successor with confidence.
The First Vice President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Mohamud Sayid Adan, congratulated the newly appointed Minister and called on her to actively engage the ministry in women and human rights affairs and be a champion for the women rights in Jubbaland state.
