The President of Puntland regional State of Somalia, Sacid Abdullahi Deni, has condemned last night’s suicide bombing in Mogadishu, which left several people dead and scores of others injured.
In a Facebook post, Puntland state President condemned the terror attack and called on concerted efforts in the fight against Al- Shabaab terror outfit.
“I extend my condolences to the families and the entire Somali nation for the loss of the youth who were massacred by the terrorists last night in Mogadishu. This is an indication that the terrorists are targeting our youths and our core fabric. We need to be united in the fight against the Al- Shabaab”, Reads Puntland state president’s post.
A suicide bomber blew himself up at a cafe in Shangaani district on Saturday night killing at least six people, including a recent university graduate and a minor.
