The Director General of the Jubbaland Ministry of Planning, Investment and International Cooperation, Mohamed Wali Sheikh Ali, officiated a high-level review meeting focused on assessing achievements made during the first six months of the year and outlining priority plans for implementation during the remaining months.
The meeting brought together senior officials from the Government of Jubbaland and representatives from UNICEF, who jointly reviewed progress made across key development initiatives.
Discussions centered on achievements recorded so far, existing challenges, and strategies to strengthen collaboration in order to accelerate the delivery of essential social services to communities.
Speaking during the session, the Director Generals of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation highlighted the importance of effective intergovernmental cooperation and the need for coordinated efforts among public institutions to enhance service delivery and promote sustainable development across Jubbaland.
Participants emphasized the value of partnership between government institutions and development partners in addressing community needs and achieving shared development objectives.
In his closing remarks, Mohamed Wali Sheikh Ali, Director General of the Ministry of Planning, Investment and International Cooperation, underscored the importance of maintaining strong collaboration, regular performance monitoring, and accountability mechanisms to ensure the successful implementation of Jubbaland’s development priorities and long-term growth agenda.
The review meeting is expected to strengthen coordination among stakeholders and provide strategic direction for achieving the government’s development goals during the remainder of the year.
