The Ministry of Finance and Economic Development of the Jubbaland State today convened a high-level awareness and mobilization meeting aimed at accelerating the implementation of annual property tax in Kismayo district.
The meeting, chaired by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, brought together the Minister of Commerce along with senior government officials and stakeholders. It focused on strengthening understanding and compliance with the regional property tax system.
Discussions highlighted the critical importance of property tax as a key source of government revenue, emphasizing its role in financing public services and driving economic development across Jubbaland.
