The Minister of Internal Security of Jubbaland State, Yusuf Hussein Osman (Dhuumaal) today led a critical GBV case handling training session in Kismayo for selected police officers serving across various stations in the Lower Jubba region.
The training aimed to strengthen the officers’ skills and knowledge in handling cases related to violence against women and children, equipping them to better protect vulnerable groups and provide more effective services to the community.
The training was opened by the Minister of Internal Security, Yusuf Hussein Osman (Dhuumaal), and was attended by the Director General of the Ministry, departmental staff, senior representatives from the regional police command, and officers responsible for community relations in Lower Jubba.
