The Minister of Health of the Jubaland State Government, Ismail Ahmed Garas, held a productive and high‑level meeting with representatives from the Embassies of Sweden, Switzerland, and the international organization Save the Children.
The Minister was accompanied by the Acting Director General and Director of the Planning Department, Abdirahman Mohamed Ibrahim, along with other senior officials from the ministry.
The discussions focused on strengthening partnerships and expanding support for health services across Jubbaland, particularly in light of the region’s growing healthcare needs and ongoing challenges related to funding and resource allocation.
Minister Garas commended the vital role played by the partner agencies and emphasized that sustained collaboration is essential for advancing quality, accessible healthcare services for all communities in Jubbaland regional state.
