A prominent delegation headed by Dr. Mohamed Aden Koofi, Secretary-General of the National Rescue Forum, arrived today in Kismayo. The visit marks the beginning of a series of high-level engagements aimed at shaping Somalia’s political future.
The delegation received a warm welcome at Sayid Mohamed Abdulle Hassan International Airport, where they were greeted by senior officials from both chambers of the Jubbaland Government, federal MPs, local authorities, and municipal leaders.
This mission serves as a prelude to an upcoming summit that will bring together influential political figures united under the National Rescue Forum. The high-level conference, scheduled to take place in Kismayo in the coming days, is expected to address critical national issues and chart a roadmap for Somalia’s future.
