Jubbaland Civil Service Commission Chair Participates in Key SERP Project Evaluation Summit in Nairobi

The Chairman of the Jubbaland Civil Service Commission, Hon. Siyaad Ibrahim Mohamed, has participated in a high-level summit held in Nairobi to evaluate the progress and impact of the Somalia Enhancing Public Resource Management Project (SERP).

The summit, which concluded in Kenya’s capital, brought together key stakeholders to assess the achievements, challenges, and future direction of the SERP project, which has been active for the past one and a half years. Discussions focused on tangible outcomes, encountered obstacles, and strategic priorities for the next phase of implementation.

Participants included representatives from the World Bank, officials from the Federal Government of Somalia, member states of the Federal Republic, and SERP project staff. The event served as a platform to strengthen collaboration between federal and state-level institutions in Somalia.

Hon. Siyaad Ibrahim Mohamed, accompanied by members of his office, actively contributed to the discussions. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between government institutions and the SERP project to ensure the successful execution of planned activities, overcome existing challenges, and achieve the project’s long-term goals.
