The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Jubbaland State Government has officially launched a five-day capacity-building training program aimed at enhancing the skills and professionalism of staff working at Sayid Mohamed Abdulle International Airport.
The training was inaugurated today in Kismayo by the Director General of the Ministry, Mr. Saacid Abdullahi Maalin, in a ceremony attended by senior officials from various Jubbaland ministries and other government representatives.
The primary objective of the training is to strengthen the knowledge and operational capabilities of airport personnel, with a special focus on aviation security, airport management, and compliance with international civil aviation standards.
In his opening remarks, Director General Saacid Abdullahi Maalin emphasized the importance of the training in improving service delivery at the airport. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to continuously developing the capacity of its workforce and ensuring the safety and efficiency of both domestic and international flights operating in and out of Jubbaland.
