In a significant step toward strengthening local justice systems, the President of Jubbaland State, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today witnessed the official swearing-in ceremony of the Judicial Service Committee for Badhadhe District.
The ceremony, held as part of ongoing efforts to enhance legal services and promote justice at the district level, was presided over by the Chief Justice of Jubbaland, Abdi Shakur Sheikh Mohamed Rashid. Also in attendance was the Attorney General of Jubbaland State, Nuradin Mohamed Khalif, along with other senior officials.
President Ahmed Mohamed Islam has urged the newly appointed committee members to carry out their duties with integrity, transparency and in full accordance with the law. He emphasized the vital role of a fair and accessible judicial system in serving the public and upholding the rule of law.
This development marks another milestone in Jubbaland’s broader initiative to decentralize and improve governance and legal frameworks across its regions.
