The Minister for Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdiqadir Mohamed Noor today held a meeting with Djibouti Defense minister, Hassan Omar Mohamed in the city of Mogadishu.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the war to eliminate the terrorist groups like Al-Shabaab from the country.
The Minister of Defense of the Federal Republic of Somalia thanked Djibouti for the close brotherhood and always standing by the Somali people and their country.
Minister Abdiqadir Mohamed Noor said that Djibouti is always committed to rid Somalia of its enemies.
The Minister for Defense of the Republic of Djibouti, Hassan Omar Mohamed has stated that Djibouti is committed to supporting the government of Somalia and to liberate the country from enemy groups adding that the war on terror will be successfully undertaken with the help of Djibouti.
Minister Hassan Omar Mohamed has praised the Somali government for uprooting the Al-Shabab group from many areas of the country.
Also present during the meeting was the Somali chief army commander, Gen. Odowaa Yussuf Rage and the Commander of Djibouti armed forces, Gen. Sakari Ibrahim Sheikh as well as other officials of the Ministry of Defense from both countries.
