Premier Mohamed Hussein Roble, who is heading to Egypt today, has been at the forefront in steering the country towards the presidential elections set to be held in October 10 2021, with sources speculating that he may be aspiring for the top seat.
Somalia has been entangled in political wrangles which resulted in the delay of the elections besides the squabbles between the federal government, federal member states and the opposition leaders.

But since Somali premier Mohamed Hussein Roble assumed office, he has managed to resolve the political impasse between the two warring sides and also succeeded in signing an agreement with the opposition paving way for the much-anticipated Somali elections.
So far, only two Federal Member States-Puntland and South West have concluded senate elections.
