The President of Jubbaland State of Somalia Ahmed Mohamed Islam has yesterday received at his Presidential Palace, an international delegation led by the United Nations Special Representative for Somalia Mr. James Swan.
Others include the EU Special Representative to Somalia Nicolás Berlanga Martínez and the Italian Ambassador among other senior delegates.
The officials had fruitful meetings which were also attended by US Ambassador to Somalia Yamamoto and African Union Commissioner Francisco Caetano Madeira.
These meetings focused on the latest developments in Somalia and electoral issues.
